What is continuous inkjet coding?

Continuous Inkjet (CIJ):

It is a non-contact printing form. By using charged ink droplets, CIJ printers can use a variety of inks to mark alphanumeric and barcode labels on almost all surfaces (porous or non porous, flat or curved). CIJ has a wide range of functions and is more suitable for enterprises that use high-speed production lines to produce various types of packaging.

Applicable substrates: plastic bags, glass, metal cans, inflatable, packaging, and shrink wrap, etc

Advantage: Create high contrast visual markers through various colored inks

What is laser coding?

Laser coding:

Another form of non-contact printing, laser coding, can create permanent marks and is preferred for anti-counterfeiting. Laser coding does not require the use of ink or droplets, making it more environmentally friendly. Although the initial investment cost of a laser coding machine is higher than the purchase cost of a continuous inkjet (CIJ) coding machine, there is no need to pay for ink solvent costs in the future.

Applicable substrates: glass, plastic, paper, rubber, etc

Advantage: Can generate permanent marks on the substrate
